About

Welcome to Lines to Take. I’m Line Kristensen, a campaigns and community strategist who move people to action.

I’m passionate about grassroots campaigns and movement building, using technology to drive engagement at scale, and making politics engaging and accessible to everyone. Read along to find out more about trends, tactics and tips for smart and ethical campaigning in our complex and fast-moving world.

Do you want to know more? I’ve worked on some interesting, diverse projects over the last decade:

  • I’ve campaigned and advised clients on four continents: Africa, Asia, Europe and North America.

  • I helped the Remain campaign recruit and train their national field team ahead of the 2016 European Referendum.

  • With the UK Conservative Party, I recruited and trained 100 target seat Campaign Managers ahead of the 2015 General Election. I was also involved with Sir Eric Pickles’ 2017 General Election Review. I’ve volunteered my time doing training with the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

  • In the States, I’ve worked on hotly-contested state, gubernatorial and presidential campaigns in Florida and Virginia, including President Obama’s re-election campaign in 2012.

  • In 2021, I joined Multiverse as a senior leader of the Community team where I led the Alumni, Member Experience and Insights and Development Programme teams.
